Sleep is a need and is essential for the growth and development of our little ones. So why is it that many adults don’t prioritize their own sleep and like we do for our children? Parents need sleep, too!
While it seems like we spent weeks preparing for school to begin, now we are going to spend this weekend focusing on our ‘Post First Week of School Recovery’. Today ends our first full week of school (and preschool). Phew! Just as important as the back to school supplies, kids need time to recover from the exhausting week and so do YOU!
Soon children will be back in school, which means those late nights of catching fire flies and running barefoot until the sunsets will be replaced by the early bedtime. And that is ok! Sleep is important at any age. When children are well rested, they can be happier, more alert, and ready to learn!
